General Information
This excellent property is set in a thriving village on the Black Sea coast, just 5 km away from the charming vacation town of Ahtopol, well appreciated by both native and foreign tourists for its delightful cozy atmosphere and romantic marine vistas. This is a region with wonderful landscapes and is only 45 km from the splendid beach resort town of Sozopol, where you can walk along its narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the architecturally authentic old houses and well-preserved churches from ancient times. This new two-storey house with a total of 140 sq. m living area is set within a garden of 300 sq. m and offers a spacious lounge, kitchen and bathroom with toilet on the ground floor, while on the first floor there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms with toilets, and a large terrace allowing magnificent sea views.
Due to the unique combination of marvelous sand beaches, crystal clear sea, beautiful forests, cut by picturesque rivers, and a diversity of protected areas within and at the border of the majestic Strandja Mountains Nature Park, the region of the Bulgarian South Black Sea Coast offers wonderful opportunities for unforgettable holidays and relaxation. The area is ideal for the fans of the water sports, such as sailing, surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. The Strandja Mountain was declared a nature park in 1995 (in fact being the largest one in Bulgaria) and is one of the least explored in Bulgaria, which explains why the richness of its wildlife has been entirely preserved. The mountain also has a lot of caves (particularly in its western part), traces of ancient civilisations (stone figures, sun discs carved in stone, Thracian dolmens, fortress walls, proto-Bulgarian sanctuaries, etc). The mountain's villages are also unique in terms of spirit and architecture. Two such authentic villages to the southwest of the village on the road to Malko Turnovo are Kolodovo and Bulgari. The village of Bulgari is particularly famous for its 'nestinarski' dances (barefoot dancing on glowing embers), held on the festival of St. St. Constantin and Elena on the 21st of May.
